The Space

Enter the Flat at street level and travel to the second floor. As you arrive at the top of the stairs, you will step into the main hallway that connects the two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms, all leading to a spacious kitchen and living space. You will step directly into the kitchen from the hallway to find new deep grey custom cabinetry with granite countertops, new stainless-steel appliances, and various small appliances. Appointed with everything you need to cook during your stay. A separate butler nook provides additional storage and a coffee maker. Doubling as a kitchen island is a countertop height table set for four. Through the case opening to the right is a beautifully designed living space. Enjoy a comfortable sofa and two lounging chairs. Gather around the coffee table to play your favorite board games or kick back and stream your favorite shows on the smart TV. The Flat two bedrooms are outfitted with new comfortable queen mattresses wrapped in fresh soft linens. Large windows fill the rooms with natural light, and stylish dressers provide ample storage for your stay. Find a single vanity and a low-entry shower in the bathroom that feature new custom tile work and modern fixtures. The bathroom is outfitted with all essentials, including fresh towels, shampoo and body wash, toilet paper, and a hair dryer. The manor has a second half bath that provides additional space to get ready in the morning or prepare for bed at night.  Are you working remotely during your stay? Our high-speed WIFI is perfect for video conferencing and multitasking, and the inviting environment provides an ideal space to work from.

The entire apartment is for your use! We encourage you to use the balcony/deck off the rear hallway for a morning coffee or a pre-game cocktail! :)

Neighborhood

Located just off State HWY 25 and I16, you will enjoy easy access to the property while still enjoying the quiet of a side street and being within walkable distance of everything Savannah offers. Grab excellent Cuban food at the corner café Rancho Alegre Cuban just down the road. Swing around the corner to Crystal Beer Parlor for a drink or sit down for a delicious southern dish at Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room, an authentic mom-and-pop restaurant.  Grab a delicious cup of coffee at Savannah Coffee Roasters and relax in  Pulaski Square or Chatham Square. Are you looking for a great outdoor vibe with beautiful old-growth trees? Stop into Collins Quarter at Forsyth for brunch and enjoy the Savannah breeze through the trees. Head to the City Market and River Walk and enjoy additional southern dining at The Lady and Sons. Grab a traditional dinner breakfast at Treylor Park. Get a little fancier with a delicious meal at St. Neo’s Brasserie, and don’t forget to check out their basement speakeasy-inspired bar. A trip to Savannah is only complete with exploring a little of its historical colonial past. Fill your schedule by checking out the Telfair Academy, a beautiful art museum, or stroll through the Webb Military Museum. Relive the prohibition area by heading to the American Prohibition Museum. Don’t forget to grab a drink at their cocktail bar to celebrate freedom. Or fancy exploring Savannah’s ocean ties? Check out the Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum. Not enough time to walk all the sights of Savannah? Take it all in at once while riding or biking. We are just minutes from Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah and Bike Tours. Check out the city’s skyline from the water by jumping on one of the Savannah Belle’s ferries, with multiple stops all along Savannah’s riverfront. Getting around is easy with walkable streets, bike rentals, and Uber service. Jump on Savannah’s public transit system with the MLK & Gaston NB stop just a 1-minute walk from the flat.

Other things to note

Absolutely no parties. Only the number of guests listed on the reservation are permitted at the property. No illicit activities, peddling, or soliciting are allowed on the property. Do not smoke on the property.  Report all damaged property to the property owner immediately. Treat the studio with respect, as if it were your property. This property is located close to the exit ramp of HWY 16 so there is potential for it to be noisy at times. We do provide earplugs and overall don't find it to be an issue.

Getting Around

Aside from being able to walk to most of the attractions, there is plenty of FREE transportation to get around town. Just a few blocks away at the corner of Gaston & Whitaker, there is a DOT shuttle (trolley-style bus) that runs until about 7 pm daily. You may also download The Downtowner App which is essentially a free. city-ran uber service. Aside from that, we recommend Uber/Lyft to get anywhere!
