***This is our personal home - we open it up when us and our dog are leaving to go out of town, so just keep that in mind! We typically keep condiments in the fridge and sometimes packaged food - feel free to eat away!***
The house is two stories with a master bedroom on the lower floor and two bedrooms upstairs. It was remodeled in 2014 to give it tons of modern features including a spacious kitchen that is fully equipped! The backyard offers tons of space to hang out all night long!
Designated a National Register Historic District in 1997, the Thomas Square Streetcar Historic District contains a collection of historic, intact residential, commercial, and community buildings associated with the Thomas Square Neighborhood. Developed in the late nineteenth century, Thomas Square is bounded by Anderson Lane on the north, East Broad Street, roughly Victory Drive on the south, and Montgomery Street on the west. The city electrified the streetcar in 1888 and extended the A and B Belt line south along Whitaker Street into this district, creating a streetcar suburb. The streetcar lines were removed in 1920 due to the increased use of the automobile.
There are a few great restaurants and cafes within walking distance!
The house is street parking only, please pull up in front and park there. Be sure to check the street signs as there are street sweepers that come twice a week, so you will have to move your car accordingly.
You may access the entire home as well as the backyard. Please follow the instructions posted on the sauna before use - but feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
