This historic gem has been transformed into cozy, modern apartments, blending preserved historic charm with contemporary comforts. The studio's cozy and functional layout is perfect for two guests. Located on Perry Street next to Chippewa Square, you'll be at the heart of Savannah's best dining, attractions, and activities. Enjoy a unique stay where history meets modern convenience.

Space

The historic Murphy House, built in the 1820s for three "spinster" sisters, later became the long-time residence of French artist Murphy. His original paintings still hang in the foyer today. Enter your unit through the main entrance on the parlor level and ascend the staircase to the second floor, where you'll find a thoughtfully designed space combining kitchen, living, and bedroom into one seamless layout.
The single-wall kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, cookware, utensils, and dishware, perfect for brewing morning coffee or preparing meals. The living area features a large, comfortable sofa and a smart TV above a custom fireplace, ideal for relaxing and streaming your favorite shows. Stylish accents and throw-blankets make for a comfortable evening after a day of exploring the city.
Towards the back of the unit, a spacious enclave houses a new queen mattress with crisp linens and plush pillows. Across the space is an armoire for ample storage, and a dedicated workspace for remote work.
The bathroom, located at the back of the unit is newly finished with custom tile, a single vanity, a low-entry shower, and an all-in-one washer and dryer, making it perfect for extended stays. The bathroom is equipped with all the essentials including towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer.

We loved this beautiful apartment in the heart of historic district! Plenty to do in the area and the home itself was furnished with all amenities such that you don’t feel like you need anything at all. A minor problem I had was that the place didn’t have good WiFi. This was a bit of a concern for me as I work remotely and across time zones so had to figure out an alternate plan. Otherwise a really fantastic place with the most wonderful hosts who are extremely responsive and very helpful. I’m so glad we stayed here and had a memorable trip.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE. The perfect place for a couple who want to stay somewhere walkable to basically everything. Had no trouble finding street parking and the parking rates were super cheap. So if the street parking is deterring you from staying here, it’s not an issue at all. Extremely quiet & private. Couldn’t recommend this spot enough, will be staying here every time I come to Savannah :)

The unit is in a great location and had everything we needed for our stay. I was initially confused where the unit was as there are upstairs units at the same location. We loved the fireplace and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside for me is that it’s a downstairs unit with limited natural light.

What a great location!! And for an excellent price as a weekday stay. Quaint and quiet, across from the sweet park, and a walk from everything! A sweet stylish place, and the hosts were fantastic about communication before, during and after my stay, responding to any little question or concern that I had. I will seek out their other places as well any time I come into town!

My husband and I were in town a couple days to attend a wedding. Location was perfect, walked the entire time we visited. Unit was very cozy, bed was comfy. Street parking was only $12 a day. There was a hiccup with the internet not working during our stay, so hubby had to work from his hot spot. Would stay here again, and recommend.
