This adorable cottage is right on Park Avenue just 2 blocks away from the renowned Forsyth Park! Come rock or swing with us on the front porch and soak up the southern lifestyle. Our traditional design and warm decor welcomes you to kick up your feet, relax and feel at home. This property boasts a very spacious rear patio that's totally covered and perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather while maintaining total privacy. Space

We offer a king bed in the downstairs master bedroom, with a queen in the other two bedrooms upstairs. We have (rare) off-street parking in the back to use at your leisure (can fit 2 cars snugly).

The Neighborhood

We are just TWO blocks away from the south end of Forsyth Park where there is an AWESOME coffee shop, natural food grocery store, wine shop and a few killer restaurants. You can't beat this location!

Getting around

There is a FREE shuttle that gets you around town (https://www.connectonthedot.com/new-dot-express-shuttle-services/) right at Forsyth Park - just walk straight on Park Ave. and once you get to Drayton it is right there by the shops! Uber/Lyft is probably the most convenient form of transportation around town, as parking can be a little crazy. It's usually about $5-7 to get to City Market/Bay Street. There is also a FREE City-ran "uber" called the Downtowner. Download the app and call a driver for free (tips welcomed).

Feel free to soak up the charm on our front porch or hang out in our more private backyard :) We have space in the rear parking for 2 cars.

Absolutely no animals are permitted whatsoever.
Please do not use our linens/towels to wipe off makeup or excessive dirt, we offer makeup wipes and paper towels for these reasons. Stained linens may result in a linen fee of up to $50 per item. Please treat the home as your own and let us know if anything breaks. We are much more empathetic to those who are honest and upfront with us :)

Comfy beds, good showers, easy street parking to go with the nice sized off-street space (that likely could've held our Dually, but easy out front street parking enabled us to leave that back spot for our traveling companions. Close to Forsyth Park. Well-appointed and super quiet. Great for two couples!

The house is very nice, clean, and well-kept, but a bit far away from the things we wanted to do. Also, we would have appreciated an instruction book. TV in main bedroom did not work, but owners did what they could to handle the problem. Interestingly, there was a note over the thermostat asking that you not put it lower than 72 for a/c, not higher than 70 for heat. This wasn’t a problem for us personally, as the weather was cool, but we’ve never seen that in any Airbnb before. As long as you don’t mind driving to attractions, this was a good rental.

Had a mixup with a post-Helene hurricane stay: had reached out to host ahead of arrival to see if the unit had been affected by the storm and still had power and host confirmed it did have power/was unaffected, but when we arrived it did not have power. While we were disappointed with the mixup, the host quickly resolved by getting us into another unit in the same neighborhood, which we greatly appreciated. The new place was very clean and in a great neighborhood, albeit not one we would have chosen on our own. Slightly disappointed by the mixup but also understanding of the city having just gone through a big storm and that some hiccups might to be expected.

Brandon and Chase were very responsive to our questions. The property felt very private even though it sits snugly between other properties--especially the back patio. The location was great and you can walk to many of the historic Savannah sights. As a group of 3 mature women we felt the attention to detail regarding kitchen basics and outdoor area could have been a bit better, but that is easily fixed! Overall a great little house..and Savannah is a wonderful place to visit!

The Park Avenue Garden Cottage (near Forsyth Park) was fantastic. Located in a quiet part of town, has great amenities, is clean and well maintained, has comfortable beds and is within walkable distance of all sections of the historic district. Brandon and Chase do an excellent job in communication.
