Space

Originally built in 1900, this historic apartment has recently been updated with all the amenities you desire in the 21st century while preserving the nostalgia of the days of old. Enter the apartment through the wrought-iron-wrapped porch just four steps above the sidewalk. Through the front door, you will step right into the main living space featuring high ceilings, crown molding, original hardwood flooring, and colonial-inspired furniture. Moody colors and abundant natural light make the living area welcoming and relaxing. Enjoy a smart TV, ready to stream your favorite shows.
Off the living room, walk through double French doors to the single ensuite, including a new queen mattress and fresh linens. The ensuite provides the perfect place for an excellent night's rest, featuring an original fireplace, handcrafted furniture, and stylish décor. Step directly from the bedroom to a private bathroom with new custom tile, pedestal sink, and low entry shower. Behind the door is a stackable washer and dryer for your use. The bathroom is outfitted with all the essentials, including towels, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, and a hair dryer.
Find a spacious dining area at the back of the apartment, a second entry to the bathroom, and the newly renovated kitchen. The dining space is the perfect place to enjoy a meal together or set up to work remotely during your stay and features custom touches like original built-in cabinetry. Directly off the dining room is a galley kitchen with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a stained glass chandelier. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, including pots, pans, utensils, dishware, and small appliances.

The Neighborhood

Referred to as the Hostess City of the South, Savannah provides an incredible experience rooted in its colonial past and full of southern charm. Although situated on a quiet side street, you are just minutes away from the excellent amenities and attractions Savannah offers. The apartment is right down the road from Colonial Park Cemetery (a great stop on the ghost tours), one block from Crawford square, perfect for quiet morning strolls. You will be just an 18-minute walk from Forsyth Park and the Savannah Waterfront, featuring unique southern dining experiences. Grab lunch or a highly reviewed brunch at Collins Quarter at Forsyth. Stop in for a fantastic lunch or dinner with trendy cocktails at The Public Kitchen & Bar. Are you looking for a pint? Hop over to Six Pence Pub for drinks in the British-inspired tavern. Explore Savannah’s history by stopping in the Webb Military Museum, Telfair Museums, or the Beach Institute African American Culture Center. Want to take it all in at once while riding or biking? We are just minutes from Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah and Savannah Bike Tours.
Getting around is easy with walkable streets, bike rentals, and uber service. Try out the Savannah Belles Ferries, jumping on at the Waving Girl Landing just .5 miles away. Just minutes to the Truman Parkway and only 20 minutes to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, you’ll have no problems getting to and from the apartment.

Getting around

Though you can walk to almost everything, there are multiple options to get around the City. There is a FREE hop-on/hop-off trolley/shuttle bus that picks you up just a couple of blocks away. This runs all through the historic with multiple stops by attractions. The City also recently added The Downtowner, which is essentially a FREE uber-style ride share that you can use daily from 5pm-5am. Aside from that, Uber/Lyft is always a good option to quickly get where you need to go. Though we do not have off-street parking, there is almost always plenty of metered street parking right in front of the house. Easy to pay through the Park Savannah app with your smart phone or just physically swipe your card.

Guest Access

The entire lower apartment is for your use! With the recent renovation, we have all modern appliances and a new washer/dryer in the bath closet that you can use 24/7, free of charge. You will have a key to the main building door and your private entry door.

House Rules Desc

We allow one pet and the fee is $100 and must be paid before check-in.
Please do not use our linens/towels to wipe off makeup or excessive dirt, we offer makeup wipes and paper towels for these reasons. Stained linens may result in a linen fee of up to $50 per item. Please treat the home as your own and let us know if anything breaks. We are much more empathetic to those who are honest and upfront with us :) Do not flush ANY thing other than toilet paper down the toilets ("flushable" wet wipes are not permitted either). If we have to call an emergency plumber and find that the cause of a blockage is due to something unpermitted being flushed, you will be subject to a $250 fee.

Parking out front is metered by the City, but almost always plenty availability right outside your doorstep. It's one of the most convenient parking spots in Savannah. Download the Park Savannah app to feed the meter to make it much easier.
This unit is the entire upstairs of a duplex, so please be respectful of your volume between 10PM - 8AM as there are other guests above you.
Absolutely no parties.
Only the number of guests listed on the reservation is permitted at the property.
No illicit activities, peddling, or soliciting are allowed on the property.
Do not smoke on the property or near the home. Clean up all smoke butts.
Must be 21 years of age to drink alcohol.
Report all damaged property to the property owner immediately.
Treat the apartment with respect, as if it was your own property.

we stayed in the downstairs apt. Beautiful space. in town and close to everything. host were very communicative. we had the best time. the bed was so comfortable. Great shower. your right by a square if youre traveling with a pet. street and side streets were very quiet. we would stay here again without question.

Brandon and Chase were excellent hosts. They were incredibly responsive and leave very detailed instructions to check in and out. I cannot recommend them and this house in Savannah enough!

Erroneous self-checkin instructions and a defective lockbox caused us to initially occupy the upper floor unit instead of the correct, lower unit. We were offered the opportunity to delay switching, but a prior engagement forced moving late at night and sleep loss. "About this space" still provides a self-contradictory description: "The entire lower apartment is for your use!" vs "This unit is the entire upstairs of a duplex,..." despite our report of same. The hosts have 100+ listings and are more reactive than proactive.

I am a local, but entertained my best friend from New York for the weekend. I wanted her to get the full Savannah experience and all of my wishes came true. It was a wonderful place to stay and will certainly recommend Wrought Iron to all my future out of town visitors.

Stayed at Brandon & Chase's Airbnb for a wedding weekend and it was awesome! The place was conveniently located near a ton of great restaurants and attractions, so if you're a walker, I highly recommend! House was well kept and well stocked with all the things a guest might need. I would stay here again, it was a great space that felt cozy and the location was extremely convenient.
