Space

The gorgeous diagonal heart pine floors, tall ceilings and gentle decor provides this marvelous "cottage" feel that is just so inviting. We have a very generous bathroom with a large glass shower and huge soaking tub with plenty of vanity room for getting ready. We offer a nifty little fully-functional kitchen that has everything you need. We have a smart TV with Amazon Fire Stick and very fast WiFi. The fireplace also works, just let us know if you would like to use it and we will provide instructions.

The Neighborhood

This original cobblestone street really is the absolute prettiest in all of Savannah. We have had several movie scenes and dozens of wedding photos shot here. We are just a block over from Mrs. WIlkes Dining Room and two blocks from Crystal Beer Parlor. The famous Clary's Cafe is just a few blocks east and we are minutes from Broughton Street, River Street and Forsyth Park!

Getting around

Aside from being able to walk to everything, if you should need a ride, we suggest taking Uber/Lyft as parking can be a nightmare. There is also a FREE shuttle bus called The Dot that connects you all around town and it is just around the corner at Whitaker and Jones. This runs until midnight on Friday and Saturday nights!

Guest Access

There is a washer/dryer in the garage storage area when you walk in through the rear that you may use. These are shared with the tenants staying in the garden level apartment on Jones Street so just be courteous of the neighbors.

House Rules Desc

Absolutely no animals are permitted whatsoever.

Please do not use our linens/towels to wipe off makeup or excessive dirt, we offer makeup wipes and paper towels for these reasons. Stained linens may result in a linen fee of up to $50 per item.

Please treat the home as your own and let us know if anything breaks. We are much more empathetic to those who are honest and upfront with us :)

Do not flush ANY thing other than toilet paper down the toilets ("flushable" wet wipes are not permitted either). If we have to call an emergency plumber and find that the cause of a blockage is due to something unpermitted being flushed, you will be subject to a $250 fee.

Interaction

We are available via phone Monday-Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday & Sunday from 10am-7pm. If you have an emergency, please call 911.

Other things to note

*There is some construction going on within the courtyard until likely June, 2026, so please understand there is subject to construction noise throughout the day, from about 8am until about 530PM. Be sure to bring your walking shoes! The historical nature of Savannah and its's breathtaking architecture also means lots of uneven surfaces around town! It's part of the fun :)

Beautiful premises on lovely Jones Street, but when we arrived, we found there was major ongoing construction going on outside our door (including an unfinished workers staircase up to the door). Brandon returned our call right away and arranged for us to stay at the only other location they had available. He was very apologetic, helpful, and responsive, but I do feel they should have checked on the construction and warned us before arrival so we could have checked out other options. The new premises weren’t ideal or in the neighborhood we wanted but Brandon did give us a 30% refund. As for the Jones Street location, it was great and we would have been very happy there if there wasn’t the construction mess and noise.

We loved the location of this place! Very walkable, the only thing that was annoying was having to park on the street and feed the meter.

My wife loved staying here, so much to do and very safe neighborhood! We were able to walk everywhere and there is so much to do there. The entry in the alley looks rough but there were zero problems and everyone was very friendly.

This was such a cozy home and an amazing location. We also really enjoyed the book selection they had and the kitchen for nice breakfasts. Savannah was a beautiful place!

I'll say this honestly, this is by far the best home I've booked through Airbnb. Jones St is a beautiful location as is, and this home is a good example of why. The courtyard is gorgeous. Private and well maintained. The home itself is delightful. The bed was comfortable, and the hosts provide everything you need. There are books, good products for the bathroom, recommendations for local stops, and an extremely comfortable bed. I'd recommend booking, just not the next time I come to Savannah so I can stay here =). 11/10 stay

Outstanding location on beautiful Jones Street. In the heart of the historic district, you can reach everything on foot in about a 20-minute walk in any direction. Numerous great restaurants, historic squares, and museums near. The place itself is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. No space for kids. It's basically an open floor plan with a small kitchen and a private bathroom (its own room). Just down expect a lot of room to spread out, so you'd better like the person you are traveling with! The place was very clean, and the king bed was very comfortable. There is a great deal of privacy despite the carriage house being attached to the main house and very close to the neighbors. We didn't see anyone else while we were there. The alley entrance is not very glamorous, and the washroom through which you must pass to enter looks like a Soviet-era blockhouse, but once in, it's a delightful place to stay. Hosts were very responsive and easy to work with.

We loved this Airbnb for many different reasons. Location topped the list; walkable to all you could want in the Historic district. We did not bring a car and didn’t need one. The room itself was comfy and cozy, the bathroom was spacious and clean; the kitchenette was just the right size and well equipped with the basics. There is also a lovely shared courtyard which we would have used if the weather was warmer, but it was January and a bit chilly. Overall we highly recommend this accommodation if you are looking for ease and comfort.
