Space

Enter the carriage house through the manor’s private entrance on Drayton Street. Also enjoy entrances located in a shared courtyard filled with greenery, washed brick, and an elegant fountain. Enter using your door code and step directly into the quaint living space featuring a small sofa, an original wood-burning fireplace, and beautiful built-in bookshelves.
Directly connected to the living room is a fully custom kitchen featuring floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, granite countertops, and a peninsula island set for two. The kitchen provides you with all the essentials you need to cook, including pots, pans, cooking utensils, and more. A coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and blender ensure you have everything you need.
Connected to the living space by beautiful French doors is the primary bedroom. This smaller room is incredibly cozy, providing a brand-new queen mattress with fresh linens accentuated by natural light pouring in through three large windows. Built-in cabinets, a closet, and a nightstand provide ample storage space for extended stays.
Atop the staircase is the unit's single bathroom featuring a shower/tub combination with a single vanity and toilet. The bathroom provides all essentials, including towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer.
Travel down the staircase to the street-level floor of the carriage house, where you will find an oversized pull-out sofa and a large smart TV ready to stream popular services. The couch pulls out into a comfortable full mattress, and we provide extra linens for the bed. Enjoy a private entrance that leads out to the manor’s courtyard.
Are you working remotely during your stay? We provide free high-speed WIFI, perfect for video conferencing and multitasking. Both TV's come equipped with YoutubeTV that we offer for free!

History abounds throughout Savannah, and the local neighborhood is no exception. Stop off at the Massie Heritage Center, providing unique exhibits about Savannah designed for kids. Stroll by The Armstrong Mansion, or dive into Savannah’s spooky pass by stopping into the Mercer-Williams House Museum. Explore the greater history of Georgia and the area with trips to the Georgia State Railroad Museum or the Beach Institute of African American Culture Center.
Continue north to discover Savannah’s beautiful River street district, filled with endless shops and restaurants there is something for everyone. Grab a pint at Moon River Brewing Company, 6 Pence Pub (a British-themed pub), or Abe’s on Lincoln, an eclectic pub featuring hundreds of hand-drawn portraits of old Abe Lincoln.

Getting around is easy with walkable streets, bike rentals, and uber service. Jump on Savannah’s public transit system with the Abercorn & Wayne stop just a 2-minute walk from the manor. Are you looking to travel via the Savannah River? Try out the Savannah Belles Ferries to see the beautiful skyline of Savannah from the riverfront.

Getting around

There is a FREE City "trolley" shuttle called the DOT that picks up only half a block from your door on Drayton St. This will take you all around the Historic District and stops near plenty of attractions. Additionally, there is The Downtowner which is a City-ran "uber" just download the app and they will pick you up for free! Aside from that, we recommend using Uber/Lyft to get where you need. If you find free parking near the apartment, stay there! You can walk to just about anything in the City! :)

Guest Access

The entire main parlor level of the house is for your use. You may use the upstairs deck as well as the courtyard, just know that the courtyard is the one shared space on the property that is shared between all 3 units.

House Rules Desc

Absolutely no animals are permitted whatsoever.

Please do not use our linens/towels to wipe off makeup or excessive dirt, we offer makeup wipes and paper towels for these reasons. Stained linens may result in a linen fee of up to $50 per item.

Please treat the home as your own and let us know if anything breaks. We are much more empathetic to those who are honest and upfront with us :)

Do not flush ANY thing other than toilet paper down the toilets ("flushable" wet wipes are not permitted either). If we have to call an emergency plumber and find that the cause of a blockage is due to something unpermitted being flushed, you will be subject to a $250 fee.

Other things to note

This is the apartment above the garage, or "Carriage House" that's connected to 2 other units via the courtyard. This is the only shared space on the property. It's up to guests if they want to use that space or not. We recommend using the Park Savannah app to pay the City meters. The meter numbers are typically by your rear left tire by the white line, and you can plug that into the app and pay hourly.

My son and I visited for the weekend and overall enjoyed our stay. The location was great—felt safe, convenient, and within walking distance of everything. The main bed was very comfortable, but the downstairs sofa bed was less so, and the temperature in that area differed from the rest of the house. By the second night, we adjusted and made it work. The hosts responded quickly to messages, though some details and follow-through were lacking. Despite that, we had a wonderful weekend!

Their description of parking is accurate. You might be able to find free parking around Forsyth (which we did until Thursday night sweeper), if not there are a ton of parking decks that will let you park overnight. One deck is a 10-15 minute walk and pretty good prices. Now, they are on one of the main roads into Savannah, so if you are not used to city noise, then this is not the place for you. The windows do not keep the sound out, but if you’re used to city sounds, then it’s perfect. Otherwise, you will hear cars drive by, maybe the occasional passerby, but I still felt rested (light sleeper). They had ear plugs. Bedroom windows face East, mid-heavy curtains for privacy only not light. Downstairs will be cooler than upstairs. Downstairs TV is better for watching, bigger and closer. Upstairs more chill. Beautiful, pleasant, calming place. Would definitely stay again. Had all we needed. Bath- hot water is left knob. Be patient, pipes are older. Working air system looks new.

Had a great stay in Savannah, location is 15 minute walk to just about every square and park. Tons of restaurants are close. The house itself is lovely and gives you a nice historic homie feel. Thank you for a great stay!

Brandon & Chase were super responsive whenever we had questions. Southern hospitality at its best.

A wonderful place with great attention to detail in the best possible location in the southern historic district (less overrun than the main part). The kitchen is well supplied with top-notch appliances, and the beds are comfortable. The terrace is good for breakfast, reading, and working (there is no dedicated workspace or desk in the apartment). Everything is in perfect shape and very clean. There is a little street noise despite the solid windows, but not enough to wake you up. The second bedroom has a sleeping sofa which probably should be replaced by a bed, since we just hung out to eat and watch TV on the first floor. Internet works great also. The price seems high, but it's the going rate in Savannah and a much better deal than a double room in a hotel.

This was the perfect location! It was easy to walk to and from downtown without feeling too close to the touristy stuff.

Had an issue with parking. Sent a message and called hosts and received no response. Phone went to voice mail and message was answered with an auto responder say they’d get back to me. They didn’t.

What a wonderful stay we had at the carriage house! Perfect location, lots of natural light, very clean and just the right amount of space for our long weekend visit. It’s a half block from Forsyth Park, right in the heart of Savannah, so everything is very walkable. While we didn’t really have any issues, Brandon and Chase were very communicative. We will most definitely stay here again!
