Space

Despite its old-fashioned appeal, the cottage hosts a modern kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and a sturdy, granite countertop. You’ll find everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal, including a full set of kitchen knives, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Step out onto the courtyard for a relaxing evening under the stars after dinner. The patio area is surrounded by plant life and plentiful citrus trees. It also has a spacious patio table that seats 4, allowing you to enjoy the green oasis with loved ones. You’re guaranteed a good night’s rest in the main bedroom, decorated with a stonewall fireplace (non-working) and plenty of antiques. Step out onto the connected balcony in the morning for a cup of coffee or cocktail at night!

The Neighborhood

Located in the South Historic District, this warm, restful cottage allows its guests to enjoy greenery without sacrificing accessibility to downtown. Just north of Savannah’s expansive, 30-acre Forsyth Park, there’s plenty of green area for you to enjoy! Lafayette and Troup Square are also nearby, providing you with even more greenery to explore. With a walkability score of 93, this pleasant neighborhood is more than easy to get around. Enjoy Savannah’s serenity and warmth in this peaceful property.
Not even one block from the famous Clary's Cafe (in Midnight in The Garden of Good and Evil!), a few blocks from Fox & Fig (best all-vegan restaurant in town!), and so many more amazing local spots!

Getting around

There is a FREE shuttle that picks up just one block down Jones at the corner of Whitaker/Jones. This will take you up and down the Historic District and can drop you off at City Market. Otherwise we recommend using Uber/Lyft as parking around town can be pretty chaotic and is usually less than $5 to get anywhere.

Guest Access

Everything is yours! Aside from the rear patio on the ground floor, you can access the balcony off of the "master bedroom." We have a large smart TV downstairs and another in the first bedroom and GREAT WiFi! Again, all the rooms are connected via the spiral staircase, so please be careful going up and down especially on the top floor (watch your head!). There is no "real privacy" between the rooms because of this, so make sure you're bringing people you actually like! :)

House Rules Desc

Absolutely no animals are permitted whatsoever.
Please do not use our linens/towels to wipe off makeup or excessive dirt, we offer makeup wipes and paper towels for these reasons. Stained linens may result in a linen fee of up to $50 per item. Please treat the home as your own and let us know if anything breaks. We are much more empathetic to those who are honest and upfront with us :)

Interaction

We are available to guests via mobile Monday-Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-8pm. We don't live far so if you should need anything or have any issues, just let us know.
If you have any emergencies call 911.

Other things to note

This space is essentially a 2 bedroom, but the spiral staircase cuts through all floors, so there's no doors It's great for a family or 2 couples that are open to a sharing space together. The bathroom is in the main bedroom on the second floor.

This cottage is charming, cosy and filled with character. We too parked the car upon arrival and walked everywhere during our stay. We loved the location in the historic district and were very close to some wonderful restaurants. Although we did not spend a lot of time at the cottage, it was lovely to come back to a comfortable bed in the evening. Great visit.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was cozy, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a truly charming and welcoming atmosphere. From the comfortable seating area to the well-appointed kitchen and serene outdoor space, every detail was perfect. The location was ideal – situated in a quiet and peaceful area, yet conveniently close to everything, including beautiful historical sites. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and accessibility. The little room on top by the roof was a delightful surprise—it was spacious enough even for my son, who is 6'4! He thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well, which made the experience even more memorable for our family. I felt right at home throughout my stay and appreciated the host's attention to detail. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and delightful getaway!

Wonderful stay in Savannah, very walkable to everything. It was on a quiet street but convenient location to most of the historic district if you like walking. Very responsive hosts who were accommodating to let us in a little early and good local recommendations were provided

Lovely house in the heart of the Historic District. Was an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. Very clean house and was perfect for a family vacation. We went for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was perfectly sized for that. The hosts were very communicative and helped me with parking. The cleaning staff even went above and beyond to help me with my car when it was having issues starting.

My stay was absolutely perfect! My friend was getting married in the square 2 minutes walk away and everything was so close! Everyone was able to get ready and walk right out to the ceremony. This area of Savannah was stunning and felt very safe. The place itself is beautiful and has so many unique additions! Loved everything about it.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cutest AirBnB ever! It was even better than the pictures. The space was spotless and adorable, every detail was well thought out, the antique furniture was gorgeous, and we loved the rear courtyard. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils, the appliances were super clean and looked brand new, and the everyday amenities were abundant from the simple things like tissues, paper towels and TP to dishwasher tabs and trash bags. The neighborhood was ideal, it’s was so quiet and close to everything we needed. Everywhere you looked there was something gorgeous, delicious, or interesting. We didn’t rent a car and opted to walk almost everywhere. We Ubered to Bonaventure and Instacarted our groceries. Everything else was an easy and beautiful walk. We were sad to leave and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Savannah.
