Space

One of four efficiency condominiums in a classic red brick building, Carolina Gold pairs elegant contemporary style, exposed brick, clean lines, and splashes of color to create an incredibly inviting space.
Enter the loft and take the short hallway into the combined sleeping and living space. Featuring a beautifully designed space, the living and sleeping area is set up in a studio style. Situated beside the original fireplace are comfortable chairs overlooking a new queen bed with crisp linens. A large dresser provides ample storage for your stay, and a smart TV is ready to stream your favorite shows as you relax in bed.
Off the living and sleeping area is an efficiency kitchen that features custom cabinets, butcherblock countertops, beautiful brick accents, and open shelving for easy access to the essentials like dishware and utensils. Find an induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and small appliances. Pots, pans, and additional utensils are found in the cabinets, providing everything you need to cook during your stay. Gather for a meal around the kitchen table set for two.
Located in the entrance hallway is the loft's single bathroom. Enjoy a single vanity, a low-entry shower with custom tile, and all the essentials in the bathroom. Fresh towels are rolled in a wall rack, and we provide shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, and a hair dryer.
Is work calling while you are on vacation? Our high-speed WIFI supports video conferencing and multitasking. A dedicated workspace is set up for you in the living/sleeping area.

The Neighborhood

Located in the historic Gaston Ward, you are just minutes from everything in Savannah. Directly across the street are various fast food options if you have any late-night cravings or are in a hurry. However, even better, you are an easy walk from some of the best dining, bars, pubs, and attractions.
Grab excellent Cuban food at the corner café Rancho Alegre Cuban just down the road. Swing around the corner to Crystal Beer Parlor for a drink or sit down for a delicious southern dish at Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room, an authentic mom-and-pop restaurant.
Are you looking for a great outdoor vibe with beautiful old-growth trees? Stop into Collins Quarter at Forsyth for brunch and enjoy the Savannah breeze through the trees.
Head to the City Market and River Walk and enjoy additional southern dining at The Lady and Sons. Grab a traditional dinner breakfast at Treylor Park. Get a little fancier with a delicious meal at St. Neo’s Brasserie, and don’t forget to check out their basement speakeasy-inspired bar.
A trip to Savannah is only complete with exploring a little of its historical colonial past. Fill your schedule by checking out the Telfair Academy, a beautiful art museum, or stroll through the Webb Military Museum. Relive the prohibition area by heading to the American Prohibition Museum. Don’t forget to grab a drink at their cocktail bar to celebrate freedom. Or fancy exploring Savannah’s ocean ties? Check out the Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum.
Not enough time to walk all the sights of Savannah? Take it all in at once while riding or biking. We are just minutes from Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah and Savannah Bike Tours. Check out the city’s skyline from the water by jumping on one of the Savannah Belle’s ferries, with multiple stops all along Savannah’s riverfront.
Getting around is easy with walkable streets, bike rentals, and uber service. Jump on Savannah’s public transit system with the MLK & Gaston NB stop just a 1-minute walk from the loft.

Getting around

Aside from being able to walk to most of the attractions, there is plenty of FREE transportation to get around town. Just a few blocks away at the corner of Gaston & Whitaker, there is a DOT shuttle (trolley-style bus) that runs until about 7pm daily. You may also download The Downtowner App which is essentially a free. city-ran uber service. Aside from that, we recommend Uber/Lyft to get anywhere!

Guest Access

Aside from the condo itself, you may enjoy any of the outdoor spaces and comfy furniture we offer. Right next door to the courtyard will be a bar/restaurant (coming soon)!

Place is clean, a five minute walk to Forsyth park, less than 10 minutes to the famous Jones Street and other attractions. It does get loud at night so bring earplugs.

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was very cute and had a nice kitchenette. We had a problem with the air conditioning and Brandon and Chase quickly offered to move us to another unit in the building. The location was great! Easily walkable to the historic district. It was quiet enough we had no trouble sleeping. The check-in process was a breeze and they gave super clear instructions. We would not hesitate to stay with Brandon and Chase in the future!

Definitely a gem 💎 Host was very responsive and the Airbnb was very comfortable. Felt just like a home away from home! Thank you for the hospitality ❤️

Over all we were happy with our stay. The apartment was beautifully decorated. Very convenient location. Only big cons were: a window with no blinds or curtain in front of the bed. Also no where to hang your towel after a shower.

This is a great place for two people who want to walk all over the city. Very accessible to the squares and the river. The place was very clean, tastefully decorated and we had everything we needed. I would stay here again!

well located, nice, off street parking, felt safe. Modern, well decorated, great bed, bath and shower. bit of a hike to points on the river, but not bad as you walk along very interesting places. took a lovely walk around Monteray Square and Forsyth Park in the evening. Enjoyed the Hawthorn bar next door- quirky spot with good drinks, conversation and live music. It is rather bright at night from exterior lighting so bring a sleep mask if darkness is necessary to sleep.

We loved our stay at this Airbnb… I was concerned about the bar noise next door but it turned out. The bar was closed while we were there Monday and Tuesday night… someone mentioned about the very thin walls I didn't have an any way shape or form… The place was well kept well designed and well stocked... would highly recommend this place It was a 25 minute walk to the river, but oh my gosh, the homes there were just unbelievable and loved the walks to and from the tourist area.

This was the perfect home base for my solo trip to Savannah. I was nervous when my friend backed out but I had nothing to worry about. Everything I wanted to see/do was walkable and I never felt unsafe walking alone in the area. The studio was clean and comfortable and looks exactly like the photos. If I'm ever back in Savannah on my own I will absolutely stay here again.
