Space

Constructed in 1891 and believed to be one of the four remaining residential structures designed by the renowned architect Alfred S. Eichberg, this unit is truly a piece of Savannah's history. Originally born in New York, Eichberg moved to Georgia and was commissioned on notable structures, including the Telfair Hospital, New Hanover County Courthouse (NC), and Eichberg Hall of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Known for his Romanesque revival style of design, you’ll find incredible detail and architectural aspects throughout the Alfred Inn.
Located on the mid-level of the entire residential home that is now a quad-plex, the unit provides a spacious design, high ceilings, and historic touches with fresh modern updates.
Enjoy pure comfort at The Alfred. Sink into the oversized sectional in the living room, perfect for unwinding as you stream your favorite shows on the new TV. Transition seamlessly into the fully custom kitchen, with new appliances, granite countertops, and all the culinary essentials for crafting meals. Gather around the dining table set for six.
This elegant space features two ensuite bedrooms and a third bedroom with an adjacent full bathroom. Each bedroom features new furnishings, including comfortable beds and TVs. The main suite is accented by stunning bay windows framing a new queen mattress with fresh linens. At the same time, the second and third bedrooms offer queen mattresses and antique touches, adding to the historical ambiance.
Vaulted ceilings and oversized windows flood the rooms with natural light, creating an open and airy atmosphere. With three bathrooms, ample space is provided for your convenience. Each bathroom has been tastefully updated with new vanities, fixtures, and custom tile work, offering a blend of modern luxury and historic charm. Enjoy a rejuvenating step-in shower or a relaxing shower/tub combination, with the powder room conveniently located in the front hall. All bathrooms have towels, body wash, and shampoo, ensuring a seamless stay.

Brandon & Chase's place was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything (including coffee!) needed to make a few meals. The location, near the SE corner of Forsyth Park, was convenient for exploring the many garden squares and restaurants. We would stay there again. We spent a week over Christmas in Savannah, but I think that 4 days would have been enough. Unless you wanted to go on a guided tour (historic or ghost) outside in the cool and rainy weather, there was not a lot to do. We enjoyed the historic district's squares and architecture, Bonaventure Cemetery (the Spanish moss is what makes it especially beautiful), and the Prohibition Museum.

The Alfred Inn, in the Victorian District of Savannah was absolutely the perfect space for our gathering of friends. We had 3 bedrooms and 3 baths that were well stocked with quality linens and every possible amenity. Brandon & Chase of South Key Mgmt are superb hosts meeting our every need and routinely checked in to assure our comfort. The beautiful historic house was tastefully decorated with a modern kitchen and was strategically located within walking distance of Savannah's Forsythe Park & restaurants. We appreciated the coffee option that included both 12 cup pot and K-cups, as well as the use of a full-size washer & dryer. We highly recommend this Savannah home and Brandon & Chase as superhosts.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were super comfortable and we loved the history of the home and the architect that built it. You do need a car to get around but parking was very easy. The hosts were very responsive.

This property was beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and very clean. The attention to details was remarkable; everything you need in a kitchen was there. It was better than being at home. We inadvertently picked the perfect weekend for our girls trip; the Savannah’s Jazz Festival was in the park about four blocks away which was great. We had a fantastic stay. Great job Brandon &Chase.
