1 – Crawl of the South
On June 4th, Savannah is hosting the Crawl of the South, the largest bar crawl in the South. The bar crawl will stop by the following bars and have drink specials available.

2 – Parks After Dark: Full Moon Hike
For those who are into hiking, take your hiking adventures up a notch with this rare opportunity to hike through the Wormsloe maritime forest on June 14th at 7pm. The 3-mile trail will take approximately two hours and you will be able to see the sunset over the Moon River and then see the moon rise over the wetlands.

3 – Celebrate Father’s Day
This year, Father’s Day is on June 19th. If you happen to be in Savannah that weekend, celebrate dad with reservations at a local restaurant, or go on a Father’s Day cruise, or maybe set up a tee time at a local golf course like The Club at Savannah Harbor or Crosswinds Golf Club. 4 – Celebrate Juneteenth
June 19th is also the Juneteenth holiday. Here are two local activities taking place for you to learn more about the history of Juneteenth and take part in the celebrations.
- Pooler Juneteenth Celebration – located at the Tanger outlets you can learn about the history of Juneteenth with activities, food and even local vendors.
- Juneteenth Festival on Tybee Island – With events on both Saturday and Sunday, the Tybee Beach Pier is the place to be for a family friendly celebration of Juneteenth.
5 – TEDxSavannah
If you are interested in a day full of talks, discussion, and engagement with others, then check out the TEDxSavannah event on June 24th at the Yamacraw Center for the Performing Arts. With the theme of Standard Deviation, local speakers will gather to give talks and encourage discussion and the sharing of ideas. You can purchase tickets here.
6 – Dig Ossabaw Island
On June 25th, you can participate in a really unique archeological adventure on Ossabaw Island. Led by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Archeology Division and the University of Georgia, you can assist with an excavation of Native American site at Bluff Field. Participants will be able to assist with digging, sifting, sorting, washing, and bagging archeological finds.

7 – Various concerts
In the month of June Savannah is hosting a few artists that would be fun concerts to attend.
- June 16th – Brooks & Dunn at Enmarket Arena
- June 23rd – Red Clay Strays at District Live
- June 30th – Homegrown Summer Jam at Victory North Savannah
