1. Savannah Music Festival: March 27th – April 12th, 2025

Though the Savannah Music Festival starts at the end of March, this popular live music event in Savannah runs until April 12th, making it one of the best events to attend in Savannah in April!
The Savannah Music Festival is a 17-day event designed to entertain, educate, inspire, and unite locals and visitors with exceptional live music performances in venues across Savannah. With hundreds of artists and bands representing all genres, from classical and bluegrass to jazz and rock, it will be easy to find your new favorite artist during this fun event!
2. Spring Festival at Skidaway Island State Park: April 6th, 2025
On April 6th, 2025, head to Skidaway Island State Park, one of the best day trips from Savannah, to celebrate the start of spring during the Spring Festival.
Shop from local vendors and eat delicious cuisine from food trucks while enjoying the warm weather and the beautiful scenery. The family-friendly and dog-friendly festival runs from 10 AM to 3 PM. The event is free, but Skidaway Island State Park charges an admission fee of $5 per vehicle.
3. Easter Egg Hunt at Fort McAllister State Park: April 12th, 2025

There are several festive egg hunts and Easter events for families leading up to Easter, but one of the most popular annual egg hunts is the Easter Egg Hunt at Fort McAllister State Park, which will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, from 10 AM to 12:30 PM.
During this event, kids of all ages can participate in an egg hunt for $10 while parents relax in the beautiful riverside park. To ensure the hunt is competitive for each group, children are grouped by age. Kids aged 2–3 start at 10 AM, 4–6 at 10:45 AM, and the 7–8 and 9–12 age groups start at 11:30. There is also a $5 parking fee. Registration opens on March 15th.
4. NOGS Tour of Hidden Gardens: April 25th – 26th, 2025
If you’d like to tour beautiful, private gardens in the Savannah Historic District while learning more about the city’s history, you should attend the Annual NOGS Tour of Hidden Gardens, which is being hosted by the Garden Club of Savannah on April 25th and April 26th, 2025. Tickets become available on March 1st.
During this event, you can tour select historic and private gardens north of Gaston Street (NOGS) to River Street in Downtown Savannah. Ticket holders can also visit the Green-Meldrim House for a southern tea party with tea and light refreshments. This home is a National Historic Landmark and a stunning architectural gem in Savannah, GA!
5. SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival: April 26th, 2025

Visit Forsyth Park on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, from 11 AM to 5 PM to watch the sidewalks come alive with colorful chalk artwork by college students and alumni from the Savannah College of Art and Design and talented local high school students during the SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival.
During this treasured local event, artists will have the chance to win prizes, and bystanders will have the opportunity to appreciate stunning artwork and beautiful spring weather in Forsyth Park!
6. Savannah Bananas Games: Various Days
The Savannah Bananas are the local exhibition baseball team that mixes baseball with dance, laughs, and fun! Their high-energy games provide lots of entertainment for fans.
This April, the Savannah Bananas are playing at home on April 11th, 12th, 13th, and April 17th and 18th. Though most of the April games are sold out, you can join the ticket interest list for a chance to snag last-minute tickets or check the schedule for games during other months later in the year.
